Yorkshire Water is planning three innovative smart wastewater network pilots, which will better inform a systematic approach to the management of Yorkshire’s wastewater.
Southern Water has increased the size of its leakage team and is employing new tools and techniques to find and fix leaks as the South East faces a future of more people and less water as part of its commitment to halve leakage by 2050.

Irish Water has welcomed the news that Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, Darragh O’Brien TD, has received Cabinet approval for the construction of the Arklow Wastewater Treatment Plant - estimated to cost in the region of €30 million.
Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water is currently investing £8 million to upgrade the wastewater network between Hailey Park and Tongwynlais.
Anglian Water has launched its routemap setting out in detail how the company will reach net zero carbon by 2030.
