Energy and Carbon
Levels of heat-trapping greenhouse gases in the atmosphere have reached another new record high, according to a new report from the World Meteorological Organization.
A new report by the Economist Intelliegence Unit is warning that by 2050 climate change could be costing the world economy as much as US$7.9 trillion as increased drought, flooding and crop failures hamper growth and threaten infrastructure.
The UK Anaerobic Digestion and Bioresources Association (ADBA) has confirmed that Chris Stark, CEO of the UK Committee on Climate Change, will headline the ADBA National Conference 2019 in London on 11th December.
Starting on Wednesday 6 November, 30,000 invitation letters will be landing on doormats across the UK – including Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland – inviting people to join Climate Assembly UK.
The Anaerobic Digestion and Bioresources Association (ADBA) has written to Chancellor Sajid Javid ahead of the next Budget announcement, setting out the industry's views on the policies needed to stimulate growth of the anaerobic digestion (AD) sector and fulfil its potential to reduce some of the hardest-to-decarbonise emissions.
