The UK Space Agency has extended the funding for HR Wallingford, enabling the water research specialists to broaden its space-based dam monitoring system, DAMSAT, to include water dams in a bid to reduce the risk of failures.
Vodafone has announced that it is working with South East Water on a pilot that could revolutionise how the water industry detects and prevents leaks, reduces environmental impact and ensures a highly resilient service for customers.
Research England has announced a £10.5 million investment which will fund a pioneering new collaborative research centre to be hosted at the University of Exeter – the centre has already received more than £20 million of funding from South West Water.
