Anglian Water has gone out to tender with a contract for servicing and remedial maintenance of biogas equipment worth an estimated £3.6 million.
The range of scope covered in the contract is for the annual/bi-annual servicing and any resulting remedial works to be carried out in the following areas:
- biogas boilers
- natural gas boilers
- “domestic” boilers
- flare stacks
- gas safety pressure valves
- gas holder
- slam shuts
- associated equipment, pipework, Whesso valves, etc.
- the ability to hire boilers
The initial term of the contract is for 2 years, with 2 further extension terms of 2 years each.
