Anglian Water has gone out to tender with a contract for servicing and remedial maintenance of biogas equipment worth an estimated £3.6 million.

 

The range of scope covered in the contract is for the annual/bi-annual servicing and any resulting remedial works to be carried out in the following areas:

  • biogas boilers
  • natural gas boilers
  • “domestic” boilers
  • flare stacks
  • gas safety pressure valves
  • gas holder
  • slam shuts
  • associated equipment, pipework, Whesso valves, etc.
  • the ability to hire boilers

The initial term of the contract is for 2 years, with 2 further extension terms of 2 years each.
