The deadline is approaching to tender for Durham County Council’s £20 million civil engineering and construction works contract.

The authority is looking to put a framework agreement in place for the delivery of civil engineering works between £50,000 to £500,000 on behalf of Durham County Council.

The main users of the framework agreement will be technical services, highway services department - however, the framework will also be available for use by all service areas of Durham County Council.

Works covered under the framework will include:

  • flood alleviation and drainage schemes
  • bridges and structural works
