The contract is being tendered in the following Lots:
- Lot 1 - Confined Spaces & Working at Heights (£2,161,116 inc VAT)
- Lot 2 - Mobile Plant & Lifting Equipment ( £1,691,478 inc VAT)
- Lot 3 – New Roads & Street Works (£1,503,000 inc VAT)
- Lot 4 - Excavation & Networks Safety (£1,046,934 inc VAT)
- Lot 5 - Work Equipment & General Hazards£1,996,884 inc VAT)
- Lot 6 - Asbestos Training (£163,920 inc VAT)
The water company is looking to put a series of frameworks in place where awarded suppliers are carried over and new suppliers can bid.
Current estimated start and end contract dates are 27 March 2026 to 31 August 2028 with possible further extension options up to 31 August 2030.
Other contracting authorities that may use the framework are sister company Hafren Dyfrdwy Cyfyngedig, Severn Trent Services Operations UK Ltd and Severn Trent Green Power Ltd.
The procurement cosists of the following stages:
1. Pre-Qualification - Selection Questionnaire
2. Request for Proposal
3. Site Visit (optional)
4. Contract Negotiation
