Severn Trent Water and sister company Hafren Dyfrdwy Cyfyngedig have gone out to tender with AMP 8 electricity supply contracts worth an estimated £820 million.

The water companies are looking to the market to source electricity supply contracts for their HH & NHH estates - suppliers who want to participate in the tendering process will be required to hold a UK Electricity Supply License and be named on the Ofgem Licensee List.
The companies stipulate that during the tender process suppliers must be able to demonstrate their ability to provide a high level of customer service, respond to customer requirements, deliver a high level of billing accuracy, and be prepared to be flexible and to work with them in partnership throughout the contract period.

The contract is being tendered in four separate Lots – initial contract term will be 60 months with a potential option to extend for a further 36 months.
