Southern Water has awarded an AMP7 contract for chemical dosing packaged units worth an estimated £10 million.

The water company went out to tender in May 2019 with the contract, which covered the provision of plant, materials and services for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of packaged chemical dosing units for approx 78 sites (water and wastewater) in the South East of England.

Nine firms were in the bidding for the contract – the successful suppliers were Electrical and Pump Services Ltd, Lintott Control Systems Ltd, Colloide Engineering Systems Ltd and Bridges Electrical Engineers Ltd.

Initial contract term is 4 years with an option to extend for a further period of 4 years.
