Southern Water has gone out to tender with an AMP7/8 framework contract for scaffolding services worth an estimated £12 million.
Scope of the contract covers services to design, supply, install, maintain, remove and inspect scaffolding installed across the Southern Water region.
The water company is looking to appoint up to 4 suppliers to the framework. Initial contract term is 4 years with extension options for up to a further 4 years.
The water company is reserving the right to consider carrying out a mini competition tender event on any scaffolding activity which carries an anticipated increased value or complex approach to the standard form of work. All other scaffolding requirements will be let on a direct award basis to a supplier on the framework.
