Thames Water has gone out to tender with an AMP7 contract for insurance broker services worth an estimated £7.3 million in total.
The Insurance Broker Services project underpins all corporate insurance activity across the whole of Thames Water.
Thames Water intends to appoint a single supplier to cover all of its core requirements under a single lot covering:
- Corporate insurance broker services
- Claims handling
- Data warehousing and reporting services
The appointed supplier will be responsible for broking the water company’s entire insurance programme, including:
- managing all of Thames Water’s Public Liability claims through a dedicated team
- operate and manage the claims management system
- provide a structured method for collecting, storing and reporting on all claims data to generate critical insight.
Initial contract duration is 4 years with options to extend annually up to a maximum overall term of 8 years.
