United Utilities has gone out tender with an AMP8 contract for the supply and servicing of portable gas detectors worth an estimated £1.2 million.

UNITED UTILITIES LOGOThe water company is looking to procure portable gas detection equipment for the safety of colleagues within confined spaces or areas where potentially hazardous gases may be encountered.

The contract is being tendered in the following Lots:

  • Lot 1 Servicing of Existing Portable Gas Detectors (£350,000)
  • Lot 2 Supply and Servicing of New Portable Gas Detectors (£850,000)

 

United Utilities is looking to put a framework agreement in place with a single supplier - contract term for both Lots is 6 years.
