Regulation and Legislation
Ofwat and CCW have published the second piece of joint research into customer priorities which will inform wider aspects of the 2024 Price Review and the development of common Performance Commitments and Outcome Delivery Incentives.
The Environment Secretary has selected Iain Coucher as the Government’s preferred candidate to succeed Jonson Cox as the Chair of Ofwat, the independent economic regulator of water services in England and Wales.
Ofwat has published the forward work programme setting out the 2022-23 delivery priorities for the Regulators’ Alliance for Progressing Infrastructure Development (RAPID) - the partnership made up of Ofwat, the Environment Agency and the Drinking Water Inspectorate.
As its pilot year concludes, English and Welsh water regulator Ofwat has launched a consultation about its £200 million Water Innovation Fund.
Ofwat is set to prioritise river water quality and environmental outcomes in the year ahead, according to its newly-published forward work programme for 2022-23.
